It's InstaAwesome Over Here

It's been a minute since I've link up with my girl Jane over at Taingamala living in a very snow-less Hawaii, I so I'm laying down some InstaTuesday today!

Say Hello to my lil' friend. This is my iPod. It has been severely neglected.  Ever since I got my iPhone I really haven't had a lot of use for this ol' guy. A couple of nights ago, though, I pulled it out and plugged it in in the car.  I felt like I'd jumped back into high school...flew to the past. It's amazing how something as simple as a object can do that to you. 

I love nail polish. Like, I'm obsessed with nail polish. I paint my nails all the time, but I also peel it off the day after because if it gets smudged, I don't want to wear it anymore. Well, I tried that pinterest trick where you stick your hands in cold water to dry your polish. It totally worked and my polish is flawless. 

This was at the "Thank God Obama Won" party I went to the other night that I was very out of place at. I had so much fun, and I looked pretty rockin. Don't get too excited about the guy in the picture. He's gay.

Monday, I went to my friend's Harry Potter birthday party (Round I). She lives a little ways away so I carpooled with a friend. It was like a mini road trip. We had sunflower seeds and everything. See?!

It's InstaTuesday!

A few matters of business before I get started:

I rarely link up with Taingamala for InstaTuesday because I don't work and don't have a computer. Which totally bums me out...I really like this link up, and I love Instagram.

So I'm cheating! I'm writing this on Monday and posting it on a little bit early. But only by a few hours!  Yay for cheating.



1. That was an "outfit of the day" that was very important...I wore that dress with some banging lipstick and my new red high-heels to the ex-fiance's brother's wedding where ex-fiance and his new girlfriend were present. I did not see new girlfriend and I was able to keep my shiz together while I was in front of people. But...I locked my keys in my car and had to wait for my mom to come get me. Awesome right. At least I looked dayyyum good, right?

2.  Last week, we went to see Pitch Perfect (oh man...sooo funny. I highly recommend it.) I don't really like to watch movies, but I love going to the movies because we get a treat....(I know, I'm 5.) I would probably kill for that frozen lemonade shiz.

3. This is really sad. I had a cute lil' blender bottle with a yellow lid that I looved. But I left some instant breakfast in it. With milk. Needless to say, I was afraid of dying when I opened it. So I tossed it in at the garbage and bought a new one. Green. Cute huh? That dress in the background of the picture is new too!

4. That was taken today...I sat in a corner cubical today. Holy crap it was like literally Antarctica in there. I was bundled up in my blanking with my ghetto head set trying not to catch a cold...but I already have one. So I can't catch it. Whatere.

So that was far too much explaining for these pictures. But oh well!  Are you following me on Instagram? No? Find me! I post lots of fun pictures all day long :)

Insta-Tuesday

I've been wanted to link-up with Jane @ Taingamala for Instatuesday for weeks now! Seems how I've been doing a bunch of linking-up this week, I figured that I'd do that. 

1. I have been Cross Stitching a wedding gift that is giving me extremely mixed feelings, but I decided to try something new. Hombre! It's actually turning out really cool, and it's reminding me how much I love to cross-stitch!

2. I went to the Utah State Fair on Friday after work with my mom and aunt. I decided to try out a flexed arm hang at the Marine's Booth. I'm pretty sure I hung for around 50 seconds after not doing a hang for several months. BEAST MODE ;)

3. I've been going to the gym so much lately, that I'm starting to really feel it. I've been laying on the icy hot, scar cream and lotion for  all the chafing. It's getting to be quite the treatment.

4. A few nights ago my mom was busy with my little sissy. I made dinner from stuff we had laying around and it turned out being the a really awesome meal that I was so proud of!

Photo Dump...(Aka: not creative enough to make these items work together)

Hey guys! How's it going today? I'd be better if I hadn't slept this whole day away. Whoops!  Today's post is basically a bit of a photo dump. I have a whole bunch of pictures and no idea how to create a nice little copacetic post about them so. Here is goes! 

On the way home from work yesterday, I spotted this ridiculous column of smoke. Holy fire on the mountain (again!), Batman...This one is at Camp Williams.  I haven't been listening to the radio to know if it's contained or what is going on, but the whole valley is filled with smoke and the smell of fire. Way too scary. 

Did I ever tell you I got my ears pierced a second time? Well I did and on Tuesday I got to change the earrings in the second hole. I got all excited a took a picture. So here it is!

You can ignore my less-than-stylish hair-do. Or make fun, whatever. 

The next few photos are to announce that I am now on Instagram! I got an account when I first got an iPhone but I majorly neglected it, so I just quit that account and created a whole new one. You can follow me @camocolored. I decided to keep all my names the same. I am a bear of small brain and I forget everything so I try to keep things simple. 

So there's my profile picture! It looks like my ring is on my right hand because I used my front camera...dumb. It's on the left.

Last night, I made sloppy joes for dinner and I couldn't resit taking a photo of them. Isn't that what Instagram is for? Taking picture of your food? Might as well be, because that is most of my photofeed.

Last night I hit the gym with a big goal in mind. I need to be able to run 2 miles in under 20 minutes to pass the Army Fitness Test and I want to freaking destroy it, not just pass it...well I didn't achieve that goal, but I did force myself to run until I hit two miles, which I never do. I always quit after one or sometimes 1.5 when I feel ambitious.
