I Am Thankful For Sundays

If I didn't work every Sunday, this would so be my favorite day. This link up is definitely the highlight of my Sunday. I love to read everyone's answers to the questions and answering them myself.  Today, I am so very thankful for Sundays.

What is currently on your wish list?

I am dying to get a Pandora Charm Bracelet! I have all these charms, but no bracelet...And I want one. Bad.  I'm also wanting a new iPhone case. I've been cruising etsy discovering all these adorable cases and I just...want one!

Share a new iphone, droid, ipad app you have recently discovered that we all need.

I don't have too many new apps, but here are several that I cannot live without. Voxer is probably my favorite. It connect me to on of my best friends who is, literally, living in tomorrow. We can't talk on the phone, but we can walkie-talkie. It's fantastic. 

What is a new Fall TV show you have added to your DVR?

Alright, everyone, get your gasps ready. I don't have a DVR or cable or any way to record TV shows that I miss! But, I'm completely in love with Revolution. And of course, if you haven't watched the entire series of Grey's Anatomy, I hope that you're getting on Netflix right this minute to commence the Grey's watching.

Oh, social media...My little sister is in high school and is in a social media marketing class. Talk about relevant. I think that it's the coolest thing ever.

Saying my favorite is kind of hard. It's probably a tie between Pinterest and Twitter.  Pinterest introduces me to a whole bunch of new and exciting things. I also love Twitter because most of the stuff on it is clear and concise. I think it helps you get to know a different side of a person. 

What is a TV series or Movie or Song you could listen to or watch over and over and over and never get tired of…feel free to name one of each.

TV series... Okay, I'm kind of obsessed with a whole bunch of different series. Currently, I'm re-watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer from start to finish, so I guess you could say that I'd watch that over and over again :D And I may or may not have just restarted Grey's Anatomy...It's fueling my new Washington Dream. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't currently listing to "I Will Wait" by Mumford & Sons on repeat.

Friday, Friday...gotta get down on Friday...

First of all, look how cute I am today! I started out in tight, dark teal dress, but I couldn't figure out a good way to make it look more work appropriate and less like I was going clubbing... I need some blazers or something to professionalize some of my less "worky" clothes. I'm getting pretty good at making my wardrobe very versitile. I've never really been all that into fashion, but with my recent shopping addiction, I've been looking pretty dang good! 

But then, I went outside to find this gross frost on my windows. It was thick too! Luckily, I remember that I had rear defrost, that made my life easier, but then I still had to scrape (took forever to find the scraper too!) in my dress...

Screw this...I'm gonna be late for work. Hopefully I don't wreck because of this frost I'm ignoring...

Anyway, that was my morning...icy, and cold. But my friend at work has pumpkin cookies. That makes everything better!

Now onto a radically different topic:

I am so popular in social media lately...I #hashtag and millions start liking. I think that I go to bed too early, because I wake up to this all the time.

And the funny things is, the one on the right is scolled to the bottom, there's like 5 more notifications and a text...wow, everyone loves my pictures Maybe I #hashtag too much! But I've also been posting a ton of stuff on Instagram and Twitter...I've almost hit my 1000th tweet already! I never thought I would like it as much as I do!

My First Drill

Oh my heavens...what do I say about my first drill with my unit as a "Pre-B" (that means Pre-Basic soldier, and I have been getting called that for two days)?

It was...interesting. First of all, I didn't know freakin' anything so I was ridiculously nervous. On top of that I was pretty late, but that was due to the whole not knowing anything. Then, they're like, "Hey, you're going to be here a while. Let's put you in a uniform. So they find me some ACUs that were thrown into a cage in supply. With some awesome ink stains, a gigantic cover, no boots, and the coat and trousers are about two sizes too big. Luckily, they didn't make me wear them yesterday.

I was just trying it out so I have in my earrings still...whoops

I just did a bunch of crap on the computer and wandered around trying to look busy. It wasn't all that exciting. Today, though, I learned tons of stuff. It was way fun. It was a really long day, but it was nice to be moving around and feeling like I had a bit of a purpose. A few guys took care of me and made sure that I had stuff to do. It was a lot better today.

Yesterday, though, I texted my friend and bitched like crazy...I was not a happy lil' camper. I was annoyed with like everything about the Army.  I'm so glad that today sucked a whole lot less.

Next drill, we're going to be doing a PT test. And I can tell you right now, I'm gonna pass that thing and prove that I belong there. And get this, I'm actually kind of excited about it!

Photo Dump...(Aka: not creative enough to make these items work together)

Hey guys! How's it going today? I'd be better if I hadn't slept this whole day away. Whoops!  Today's post is basically a bit of a photo dump. I have a whole bunch of pictures and no idea how to create a nice little copacetic post about them so. Here is goes! 

On the way home from work yesterday, I spotted this ridiculous column of smoke. Holy fire on the mountain (again!), Batman...This one is at Camp Williams.  I haven't been listening to the radio to know if it's contained or what is going on, but the whole valley is filled with smoke and the smell of fire. Way too scary. 

Did I ever tell you I got my ears pierced a second time? Well I did and on Tuesday I got to change the earrings in the second hole. I got all excited a took a picture. So here it is!

You can ignore my less-than-stylish hair-do. Or make fun, whatever. 

The next few photos are to announce that I am now on Instagram! I got an account when I first got an iPhone but I majorly neglected it, so I just quit that account and created a whole new one. You can follow me @camocolored. I decided to keep all my names the same. I am a bear of small brain and I forget everything so I try to keep things simple. 

So there's my profile picture! It looks like my ring is on my right hand because I used my front camera...dumb. It's on the left.

Last night, I made sloppy joes for dinner and I couldn't resit taking a photo of them. Isn't that what Instagram is for? Taking picture of your food? Might as well be, because that is most of my photofeed.

Last night I hit the gym with a big goal in mind. I need to be able to run 2 miles in under 20 minutes to pass the Army Fitness Test and I want to freaking destroy it, not just pass it...well I didn't achieve that goal, but I did force myself to run until I hit two miles, which I never do. I always quit after one or sometimes 1.5 when I feel ambitious.
